Meet Our Founder, Dayoon Yoon

Our visionary founder, Dayoon, has been intimately acquainted with the skincare industry her whole life. She was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, where she grew up working for her family’s skincare business. 

But her real motivation came from personal experience. From diaper rash as a baby to stubborn adult acne, Dayoon struggled with sensitive skin for decades. Tired of one-size-fits-all solutions that didn’t work, she set out to find something better.

She became a cosmetics formulator license certified by the Korean government and equipped herself with the technical skills and knowledge necessary to innovate and create Assemblic. 

She’s on a mission to bring you the best of both worlds: American scientifically-proven ingredients and Korean beauty staples for an irritation-free skincare routine that’s customized to you.
