Your base is the foundation of your skincare routine. Finding a hydrating, skin-comforting base is essential for your skin treatments. Once you are confident with your base, you can safely explore new active ingredients. If you experience a negative reaction to an active ingredient, you’ll know it’s the ingredient—not your base—that your skin doesn’t agree with. This process helps you discover just how unique your skin truly is!
We recommend testing each base and active ingredient on your skin to ensure they’re irritation-free. Mix 1 pump of your base with 1 drop of the active ingredient in your palm and apply it to a small area of your skin for 1 to 4 days. This allows you to confirm that the active ingredient agrees with your skin before mixing it into the full base bottle.
Yes, mixing at home is completely safe when you follow our step-by-step instructions. Each ingredient and base is pre-measured and designed to work together seamlessly. This hands-on approach allows you to create fresh, tailored formulas while maintaining control over what goes on your skin.
