Step 2: Confirm if your serum and moisturizer bases are effective and comforting for your skin.
Step 3: Test each booster with 1 hero active ingredient to ensure it’s irritation-free for your skin.
Step 4: Once your bases and boosters are good to go, mix them together to create your own skincare formula.
Your base duo (serum & moisturizer) is the foundation of your skincare routine. Finding a hydrating, skin-comforting base is essential for your skin treatments. Once you are confident with your base, you can safely explore different active ingredients with our boosters. If you experience a negative reaction to an active ingredient, you’ll know it’s the ingredient—not your base—that your skin doesn’t agree with. This process helps you discover just how unique your skin truly is!
We recommend testing each base and active booster on your skin to ensure they’re irritation-free. Mix 1 pump of your base with 1 drop of the active ingredient in your palm and apply it to a small area of your skin for 1 to 4 days. This allows you to confirm that the active ingredient agrees with your skin before mixing it into the full base bottle.
Yes, mixing at home is completely safe when you follow our step-by-step instructions. Each base and booster is pre-measured and designed to work together seamlessly. This hands-on approach allows you to create fresh, tailored formulas while maintaining control over what goes on your skin.
Yes! ASSEMBLICc is committed to using only clean and safe ingredients. Most of our ingredients are EWG green-rated and certified by organizations like The Vegan Society, COSMOS, or ECOCERT. We exclude commonly known allergens and focus on clean, non-irritating components to ensure safety and effectiveness.
If your formula isn’t a perfect match, don’t worry. Send us a reformulation request to info@assemblicskin.com. We offer a free consultation to help adjust your ingredients and bases. If necessary, we’ll send replacements at no additional charge to ensure your skincare works for you for one time.
